Dr Adam Ofri is a specialist Breast Oncology and General Surgeon, accredited by both BreastSurgANZ and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and joined the Sydney Breast Clinic clinical consultant team in 2023.

He graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2009, and undertook his internship and residency at Prince of Wales Hospital. His formal surgical training was in the coveted North Shore Network. After working in both metropolitan and rural hospitals, he was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

He completed his BreastSurgANZ accredited Breast Surgery fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital, NSW and Sir Charles Gairdner, WA. During this time he enhanced his knowledge base further by undertaking a Masters of Advanced Surgery (Breast Surgery) at the University of Sydney.

Dr Ofri has a strong interest in research and has had multiple national and international publications and presentations. He has received a 2023 Breast Cancer Trials Clinical Fellowship to further explore the applicability of DCISionRT in Australia, as well as to lead the development of a Targeted Axillary Dissection (TAD) Registry in Australia and New Zealand. He has also recently been awarded the 2023 John Collins Fellow Medal & Research Grant.
