David brings his 26 years of specialist experience in oncoplastic breast surgery to the clinic. He qualified in Sydney completing his FRACS at POWH in Randwick. He is considered a pioneering leader in the field of oncoplastic surgery in Australia and NZ. Having trained with Mr Rainsbury, a pioneer of oncoplastic breast surgery. He returned to Australia in 2000 to commence a very busy subspecialist practice in oncoplastic breast surgery.

He was the founding chairman of the Oncoplastic group of BreastSurgANZ, and the Vice President of the Breast Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand.

He pioneered oncoplastic surgery cadaveric courses in Australia and NZ. David has been a regular invited speaker at many international and national conferences and is a lecturer for the Sydney University Graduate Certificate in Breast cancer surgery course.

David has a particular interest in breast cancer and reconstruction using oncoplastic techniques. He has extensive experience in breast implant related complications, diagnosis and treatment
