Dr Sebastian Rodrigues has undergone surgical training both in Australia and Internationally. He has 28 years of clinical experience.

After immigrating to Australia in 2005, Dr Rodrigues retrained with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at the Prince of Wales Hospital network, Sydney. He went through broad general surgical and sub speciality rotations like upper gastrointestinal, colorectal and breast and endocrine in various hospitals in Sydney. He was awarded FRACS in 2012 after successful completion of surgical training. He further underwent post fellowship training in breast and endocrine surgery at the Nepean Hospital, Penrith, Auburn Hospital and the Concord Repatriation Hospital, Sydney. He has completed graduate certificate Course in Breast Surgery form Sydney University in 2019.

Before migrating to Australia, he was practising general surgery since 1995 in Mumbai, India at one of the largest tertiary referral centres. He has obtained Masters in General surgery (MS) and Diplomate National Board (DNB) which are the surgical fellowships in India. He gained valuable experience in emergency and elective general Surgery during this time.

He has joined Sydney Breast Clinic in 2024.
