Dr Tzu-Yun Chung graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with her medical degree in 2011 after previously completing a First Class Honours BMedSc degree with several publications. She became a Fellow with the College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) after radiology training based at Gosford Hospital in New South Wales, and subsequently completed her Breast imaging fellowship with BreastScreen at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 2020.

Dr Chung is a Consultant with BreastScreen NSW and holds a Staff Specialist position in Radiology at RPA Hospital, with special interest in breast imaging. She has presented research at the BreastScreen NSW Radiologist Group meeting and at the RANZCR Annual Scientific Meetings. Dr Chung is the Radiology rotation clinical supervisor at RPA Hospital for the University of Sydney Central Clinical School and elective medical students, and is also involved in registrar teaching and clinical-radiological meetings.
