Jill Miller has decades of experience in the health care profession. She commenced her career as a Registered Nurse and registered midwife and continues to maintain her nursing registration. Jill added to her health care credentials when she gained her qualifications as a diagnostic radiographer. She moved her skills to mammography and breast screening when BreastScreen NSW commenced in the 1990s and consequently filled the position of State Radiographer at BreastScreen NSW for 10 years. Jill has used her skills in breast cancer screening to move to breast cancer diagnosis when she commenced at Sydney Breast Clinic 10 years ago.

Jill has lectured at international conferences on breast imaging and actively trains medical professionals in breast imaging techniques. She also travels to provide breast screening and assessment to women in remote areas.

Jill commenced her current role at Sydney Breast Clinic 2 years ago. She is part of a multidisciplinary team which provides a single comprehensive service in breast diagnosis. She has been integral in implementing cutting edge new technologies and has managed the impactful implementation of contrast enhanced mammography and more recently automated breast ultrasound.
