Our High Risk Clinic offers tailored screening and specialist consultation for women who may be at increased risk of breast cancer. Under the clinical leadership of Dr Railya Mousina, the clinic provides expert, individualised care in a calm and supportive setting.

The aim of the High-Risk Breast Clinic is to help women who may be at increased risk of breast cancer understand their personal risk, access tailored screening and prevention strategies, and receive coordinated care to detect cancer early or reduce the chance of developing it.

Appointments include a detailed risk assessment to help clarify each patient’s personal risk profile. Where appropriate, consultations may explore tailored breast screening pathways, genetic testing options, and ongoing surveillance strategies aligned with individual needs.

The clinic has also expanded its preventative focus to include access to Avantect, a new blood test designed to support earlier detection of ovarian and pancreatic cancers. This offering forms part of a broader, forward-looking approach to early detection and improved patient outcomes.
